Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the metal fabrication industry, is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Welder to join their dynamic team. As a 1st Shift Welder, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to craftsmanship, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: 1st Shift Welder

Location: Brookfield, WI

Pay Range: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift (Full-Time)

What's the Job?

• Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to job specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, appearance, and structural integrity; identify and correct defects as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required; welding training or technical education preferred.
• 3-5 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications accurately.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, safety practices, and equipment operation.
• Attention to detail and the ability to recognize weld defects effectively.
