Job Title: Apartment Leasing Agent Location: Toms River, NJ Type: Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Compensation: $20.00/hr. Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday Apartment Leasing Agent Job Duties: Helps shows units to prospective tenants, assists with rental payments, late notices, processing work orders, etc. Answers incoming phone calls and provides information or routes call to appropriate person. Greets visitors, prospective tenants and current residents. Provide potential and current residents with accurate information on available rental units. May post basic info on various social media such as the company’s, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. File paperwork pertaining to the property. Organize the office and orders supplies. Partner with maintenance team on work orders for the residents. Maintains wait list, updates, send letters. Tour property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair. Apartment Leasing Agent Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Recent College Graduates are encouraged apply! Previous leasing experience is a plus Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable. Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong administration skills. Detail-oriented and organized. Flexibility and adaptability required to meet changing business needs. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
