Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Associate I Payroll to join their team. As an Associate I Payroll, you will be part of the Payroll Support Department supporting internal payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Associate I Payroll

Location: Little Canada, MN

What's the Job?

• Handle payroll tax processing with a focus on federal, state, and FICA taxes
• Work on tax notices, collaborate with tax providers, and manage third-party authorizations
• Engage with multi-state tax processes and ensure compliance across jurisdictions
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payroll issues
• Participate in testing and project-related activities to support payroll operations

What's Needed?

• High school diploma with 2-3 years of payroll tax experience
• Experience working with state agencies and handling payroll tax filings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivation
