Automotive Sales Consultant at Town Toyota

Town Toyota is a leading automobile dealership located in Wenatchee, Washington. We offer an extensive range of new and used vehicles that are tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers. As responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving automobile sales, and establishing lasting relationships with customers. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers throughout their vehicle-buying journey and contribute to the overall success of our dealership.

The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Spanish, maintains a deep knowledge of our inventory, and has a passion for automobiles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner to determine their needs and preferences
  • Demonstrating vehicles and providing detailed information on features and specifications
  • Conducting test drives and answering customer questions about the driving experience
  • Communicating pricing options, financing, and trade-in values to customers
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles in our inventory and their features
  • Providing exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
  • Collaborating with other members of the sales team and management to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Assisting with vehicle delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process
  • Following up with customers post-sale to ensure their satisfaction and encourage future business

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of sales experience; automotive industry preferred
  • A valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent is required to support sales operations at the dealership.
  • All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
  • Clean driving record to meet insurability standards
  • Ability to speak both English and Spanish
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

Work Environment:

As part of the essential duties, this position requires operating motor vehicles. The employee’s essential duties are such that impairment caused by drug or alcohol could result in significant injury or death.
