Come be part of a Growing company as an Automotive Store Manager (or Asst Manager).
We own 5 SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service and Grease Monkey locations in Baton Rouge, Kenner, Metairie and Covington with plans to add more locations.
Build and manage a TEAM so you make 6 figures.
Minimum 2 years automotive management experience required, including tire and automotive repair. Also looking for Assistant Managers who can learn and be groomed to become an asst manager.
Looking for someone who cares for their people, the customer and will treat your store as if it was your own. MUST be able to follow a simple 10 step written process and enforce staff to follow this process. This is a hands on management position and not a sit in the air conditioning like at a dealership. 75% of your time will be spent in the bays managing people and process. Doing whatever it takes to get the job done. We can teach aptitude but we can't teach attitude. Do you have what it takes to work hard and make 6 figures?

Position Overview The Store Manager which includes for the successful operation and profitability of a Grease Monkey center using customer and employee relations skills, business management techniques, and sound judgment.
This is a working sales position. This positions focus is to grow sales of the store. This position requires experience changing oil, installing tires and selling auto services to customers. Heavy interaction with customers is required. Its a working sales position. The more you sell, the more you make. The Store Manager position requires an outgoing and smiling personality. The position reviews the manufacturers vehicle recommendations with the customer and completes the oil change. This position sales and installs fluid exchanges, filters and other preventive maintenance items. Additionally, this position sales tires and mechanical work during the oil change process. The better you can communicate the information to the customer in a lucid and easy to understand way via
our TRUST process , the more you can make.
Working Conditions
- Materials and Equipment used: Automotive oils, fluids, and lubricants. Windshield washer fluid, battery electrolyte
- Environment: Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes throughout the entire shift.
- Physical Activities: Position requires good corrected vision, hearing, frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, handling, reaching, and lifting.
