Located in Elizabethtown, KY.

Reporting to the Business Head, the EHS/Sustainability Manager focus is to oversee Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Programs for Flex Films to reduce the risk of injuries, environmental releases and to maintain regulatory compliance. Human Resource Experience a plus. Additional Responsibilities may include:

• Continuously improve EHS/Sustainability performance and policies, standards, guidelines, programs and management systems.
• Provide technical support and regulatory interpretation on EHS/Sustainability matters, including EHS laws and regulations as well as company policies, standards guidelines and goals.
• Maintains the site EHS training plan and programs and provides training to employees at all levels of the organization.
• Monitors and analyzes key EHS/Sustainability performance Metrics to measure progress and trends. Advises Business Head on performance improvements.
• Conducts EHS/Sustainability audits and inspections to insure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies. Conducts risk assessment and reports to Business Head.
• Leads and actively participates in subcommittees, team audits and incident investigations and recommends any corrective actions in EHS and Sustainability.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety/HR and/or equivalent experience
• Understanding of EHS regulations and laws
• Experience in manufacturing
• Strong computer skills
• EHS experience preferred
