Healthcare Outsourced Accounting Manager Withum’s Outsourced Accounting Systems and Services (OASyS) team is seeking an Outsourced Accounting Manager to join our growing team in one of the following offices: East Brunswick, NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Princeton, NJ; or Whippany, NJ. The Outsourced Accounting Manager will oversee and work with staff and senior team members to service a wide range of healthcare organizations. How You’ll Spend Your Time Supervising a team Reviewing and approving payments to vendors / contractors Reviewing and approving payroll Handling month-end close process Reviewing and approving all proposed JEs Reviewing all reconciliations for balance sheet accounts Monthly financial reporting including financial statements, narratives, and dashboards Assisting with grant reporting and submissions Budgeting / cash flow forecasting Working with client leadership of the organization Facilitating outside annual audits Ensuring proper internal controls and enhancement of processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required CPA preferred and/or MBA or equivalent 5-7+ years of accounting experience Outstanding communication skills Preferably experience with Intacct Accounting System and/or QuickBooks Experience working with for-profit healthcare organizations with a basic understanding of accounting reporting for healthcare companies preferred Involvement in their community and desire to “give back” The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000-$145,000. In addition to base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
