IT Manager | Paw Paw, MI

Salary Range: $99,000 - $146,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure and operational technology (OT) systems to ensure continuous production.
• Oversee cybersecurity initiatives to protect proprietary data, intellectual property, and manufacturing control systems.
• Provide technical support and problem resolution for plant operations, enterprise applications, and end-users.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with manufacturing objectives, driving efficiency and innovation.
• Ensure data integrity and availability for production planning, quality control, and reporting systems.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for IT and OT systems to minimize production downtime.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts for specialized manufacturing software and hardware.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within a manufacturing context.
• Proficiency with manufacturing-specific IT systems such as ERP, MES, SCADA, and industrial IoT.
• Proven leadership in IT team management, project delivery, and strategic IT planning.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data integrity, and operational technology (OT) security.
• Ability to align IT strategies with manufacturing business objectives and drive operational efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and IT/OT convergence.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or industrial IoT platforms.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) specifically within a manufacturing environment.
