IT Manager | Zeeland, MI

Salary Range: $93,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure and operational technology (OT) systems to ensure maximum uptime for manufacturing operations.
• Oversee the implementation and support of manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, and other production-critical applications.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures, with a focus on protecting industrial control systems (ICS) and production data.
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades and new technology deployments, aligned with manufacturing business objectives.
• Provide technical support and training to all plant personnel, ensuring efficient use of IT resources and resolving production-impacting issues promptly.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service level agreements (SLAs) for hardware, software, and external support.
• Ensure IT systems comply with industry regulations, data privacy standards, and company policies relevant to the manufacturing sector.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT operations and strategy specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Extensive experience with implementing, optimizing, and supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) critical to production.
• Strong understanding of Operational Technology (OT) systems (SCADA, PLCs, DCS) and their integration with IT, including industrial cybersecurity best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects, manage budgets, and effectively oversee IT vendor relationships.
• Experience ensuring high availability and performance of critical IT infrastructure supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and IT/OT convergence strategies.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI, predictive maintenance) in a manufacturing context.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their IT enablement.
• Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) cybersecurity.
