CNC Machinist IIII

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Shift: 1st shift 6am – 2:30pm Mon - Fri

Pay Rate: $23.75- $25/hr

What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

• Perform work in accordance with standard operating procedures and drawing specifications with minimal supervision
• Conduct checks and tests to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality
• Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and other tools
• Learn and assist with CNC machine set-ups
• Identify and report minor machine issues
• Perform operational checks to ensure tools, fixtures, and equipment are in proper working condition
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as required
• Perform job duties that include standing, walking, bending, crouching, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and climbing

What You Bring to the Role

• Ability to read and write in English (High School diploma or equivalent required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Vertical and/or Horizontal CNC milling machines
• Basic knowledge of Mastercam and SolidWorks
• Working knowledge of Haas and Fanuc CNC controls
• Understanding of G & M codes
• Ability to learn process requirements and troubleshoot unplanned production issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams, support training, and resolve production issues
