The Manager - Radiology assumes overall coverage of Radiology Services in the absence of the Manager - Advanced Imaging and/or Director. Coordinates the technical and managerial operation of the X-Ray shifts. Performs a variety of duties in preparing patients for x-ray procedures of particular organs and body parts to furnish diagnostic information. Provides staff training, completes personnel schedules and evaluates the competency and performance of all personnel at the medical center and outlying clinics. Provides oversight of the student externship program. This position serves as the department educator, regulatory liaison, and assists the Director and Manager – Advanced Imaging with a variety of compliance and billing/coding issues.JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
