Pay Rate: $20.00 $24.50/hr on W2
Schedule:
1st Shift: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 1:00 AM
Weekend work every other Saturday (8 10 hrs)
Overtime: Expected

Job Summary:
The Mechanical Technician Trainee assists in maintaining, repairing, and preparing equipment to meet operational demands. This role focuses on hands-on mechanical work, disassembly, cleaning, and troubleshooting of oilfield tools and equipment while supporting maintenance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Tear down, clean, and prepare tools from oil rigs (power washing, disassembly).
Perform basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs using hand tools (drills, grinders, wrenches, etc.).
Record maintenance activities and part usage in tracking systems.
Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction efforts.
Follow all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures and use required PPE.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1+ year preferred; entry-level candidates welcome.
Skills: Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, basic computer knowledge (Outlook, MS Office).
Physical: Lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable with hands-on mechanical work.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications: None required (crane/forklift experience a plus; recertification provided)
Training:
Conducted locally.
2nd-shift hires will train on 1st shift for 30 60 days.
