Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET to join a dynamic team focused on shaping the future of forecasting in the mortgage industry.

This role involves improving and managing test automation for Python and AWS-based applications, working with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
• Perform regression, progression, and shakeout testing for Python and AWS-based applications.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Utilize tools such as PyTest, Behave, Cucumber, and Gherkin for BDD testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous testing coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures and application issues.
• Communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience with regression, progression, and shakeout testing.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with test frameworks such as PyTest and BDD tools (Behave, Cucumber, Gherkin).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to data-driven testing and test data management strategies.
