Job Description
Tax Accounting Firm is seeking Experienced Temporary Tax Preparer / Accountant for the 2023 Tax Season.
**This position is TEMPORARY (mid-January - end of April).
We are looking for someone who is available to commit to working 35 - 40 hours per week during this temporary period. - Availability is weekdays 10AM – 6/7PM plus weekends if candidate is available. Work in the office setting. No remote.
Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
· Preparation of personal income tax returns
· Communicating directly with clients to help address tax issues
· Assisting senior accounting staff as needed, etc.
Required Skills:
· Very detail oriented
· Ability to work in a fast-pasted environment
· Basic data entry skills
· Ability to work independently
· Strong interpersonal & communication skills
· Strong computer skills
Prior tax preparation experience is required.
Ideal Candidate will have:
· at least 2-3 years of tax preparation experience
· knowledge of tax software (ProSeries)
· availability to work 35 - 40 hours per week
Salary: $22.00 to $26.00 /hour commensurate with experience.
