\n\nTravel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nCT Technologist - CT Tech
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Perform various radiographic procedures including general diagnostic, portable, bedside, and Computed Tomography (CT) exams
\n• Operate radiographic and computed tomography equipment within the department
\n• Utilize portable and C-Arm equipment in hospital and operating room settings
\n• Read requisitions and determine areas of interest, referring to exam guidelines for necessary views
\n• Use practical knowledge of anatomy for proper positioning to obtain optimum image quality
\n• Assess patient conditions and communicate with patients using age-appropriate language
\n• Review images for quality and proper positioning, repeating views as necessary
\n• Maintain radiation safety protocols and wear monitoring devices at all times
\n• Draw up contrast media according to CT protocols and inspect for expiration dates
\n• Complete online forms for exam documentation and billing accuracy
\n• Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
\n• At least three years of imaging experience with CT experience required
\n• Must maintain current Washington State DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist license
\n• ARRT (R) registration required
\n• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
\n• Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education as required
