Job Title: Medical Technologist – Travel Tech (Lab MT) Location: Roxboro, NC Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Employment Type: Travel Contract

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Medical Technologist (MT) for a travel assignment in a clinical laboratory setting in Roxboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Analyze test results and ensure accuracy and reliability
• Adhere to established quality control procedures and safety protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate lab data
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in proficiency testing and continuing education as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments
