• Location: Johnson City, NY 13790 (Southern Tier, New York)\n
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab\n
• Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (Start: 12/18/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)\n
• Schedule: 40 hours/week (choose 4 x 10-hour or 5 x 8-hour day shifts, 0700-1530/1730)\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2800-$3000\n
• On-Call: At least once per week and every fourth weekend; additional on-call available\n
• Holiday Coverage: On-call required for evening/night of 12/24\n
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing (W2)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active New York State Registered Nurse License\n
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (6 months to 3 years preferred)\n
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing\n
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)\n
• ACLS Certification\n
• Apex (Stroke education/NIHSS)\n
• Strong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills\n
• Preferred: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), CCRN, and previous acute care or ambulatory experience\n

\n\nCath Lab RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients\n
• Serve as primary/accountable nurse for assigned Cath Lab patients\n
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health promotion and disease management\n
• Safely administer medications and adhere to hospital policies\n
• Participate in shared governance, unit council, and quality improvement initiatives\n
• Engage in professional development and mandatory healthcare education\n
• Integrate nursing research and evidence-based practice in cardiac care\n
• Support new employees and nursing students in a collaborative learning environment\n
• Perform Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator duties as assigned\n
• Other clinical support duties as assigned\n
