Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Intermediate Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel position requiring a KY or compact license and at least two years of recent specialty experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Medical Intermediate Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:45am to 7:15pm
• Assignment may include multiple units covering medical-surgical and specialty care
• No local travelers permitted due to a 50-mile radius rule
• Must explain any employment gaps of three months or more
• CPI training required for all RNs and may be completed onsite
• Documentation of credentials and certifications must be submitted prior to starting
• Assignment covers units with diverse patient populations, including medical-surgical and specialty care
• Travelers are expected to adhere to holiday coverage requirements as determined by the unit

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active KY or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the relevant specialty
• Current AHA certifications with validity extending beyond the assignment start month (BLS/ACLS as applicable)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
• Flu and COVID vaccination required with proof of vaccination
• Completion of CPI training (may be done onsite)
• U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration
• No history of license disciplinary action accepted
