Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist proficient in general and vascular ultrasound with ARDMS RVT certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Hospital-based role in a dedicated ultrasound department with two procedure rooms
• Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM
• Variable patient ratios depending on caseload
• Performs all general and vascular ultrasound exams, including US-guided thoracentesis, paracentesis, abscess drainage, and interventions
• Equipment utilized includes GE LOGIC 9 ultrasound machines
• Documentation systems include Meditech and Centricity PACS
• Role involves independent weekend coverage for emergent US-guided procedures
• Black scrubs are required per dress code
• Department is ACR accredited for vascular ultrasound
• Department-specific orientation and policies are provided upon start
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are expected

\n \n Requirements\n

• Current ARDMS RVT certification required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in general and vascular ultrasound
• Must be proficient in both general and vascular sonography and able to function independently
• Experience with US-guided procedures is required
• Familiarity with Meditech and Centricity PACS is preferred
• License required if applicable
