Function in the Job:

Medium/heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Job Function

• Package material by the instruction on the shop order using the packaging profile or as instructed
• Keep up with the inventory of supplies, banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators, and skids
• Skidding material
• Generate computer assisted set-up
• Selecting proper knives; set up slitter head; select and lay out tooling
• Assist operator/helper, check shipping paperwork
• Load/unload coils onto flat bed trucks/railcars using forklift and overhead crane
• Proper placement of coils in the warehouse
• Inspect, measure, using all tools required for each job in production and shipping departments
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager in shipping and production departments
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend
• Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethics in working as a team
• Safety minded at all times

• Sheet metal: 3 years (required)
• Warehouse: 2 years (required)
• Manufacturing: 2 years (required)
