They areseeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to lead and enhanceour accounting operations. Position Summary The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting functions, ensure the integrity of financial records, and lead our accounting team. This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage monthly closings, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide strategic insights through accurate reporting and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain budgets and forecasts. Manage cash flow, monitor bank activity, and identify investment opportunities. Oversee invoice processing, payment disbursement, collections, and payroll operations. Ensure accuracy in accounts payable and general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. Act as a liaison with our outsourced Accounts Receivable partner. Coordinate and support external audits, including preparing audit schedules and implementing compliance efforts. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, encouraging professional growth and high performance. Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls. Partner cross-functionally to support strategic business initiatives. Qualifications Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred). Experience: Minimum of 8 years in accounting roles, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint and Paylocity is a strong plus. Strong ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with precision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership capabilities and team management experience. Deep understanding of AP, GL systems, and financial reporting standards.
