Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus We’re seeking an FPGA Design Engineer with at least 2 years of experience developing FPGA solutions within the aerospace industry . This role involves end-to-end FPGA design using schematic capture and Libero on Microchip (Microsemi) architectures . You’ll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design reliable, high-performance electronic systems that meet aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and verify FPGA-based solutions using Libero and schematic capture tools. Perform simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and optimization. Support hardware integration, testing, and troubleshooting at the board/system level. Collaborate with electrical, systems, and test engineers to meet aerospace requirements. Document design processes and participate in design reviews. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field). 2+ years of FPGA design experience (Libero, Vivado, or Quartus). Experience with Microchip/Microsemi FPGAs and digital logic design. Understanding of aerospace standards, reliability, and documentation requirements. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Experience with verification tools and lab hardware testing. Prior exposure to DO-254 or similar aerospace compliance standards.
