We are seeking an individual with a strong sense of ownership to execute and mature our penetration testing and vulnerability management practices. RESPONSIBILITIES Keep current on leading-edge exploitation and post-exploitation techniques and apply them to enhance our vulnerability testing and penetration testing processes. Plan, execute, and lead third-party services to ensure quality and timely security testing and remediation. Manage stakeholder engagement and deliver on security testing and remediation goals, proactively escalating concerns to senior management. Gain an in-depth understanding of the operating environment, including infrastructure, applications, and services. Conduct infrastructure and application penetration tests. Create and demonstrate proof of concepts for vulnerabilities found (Validation). Conduct risk assessments, considering environmental controls, to determine and articulate remediation strategies and priorities. Partner with stakeholders and provide guidance/support for meeting remediation plans and target dates. QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in information security testing and vulnerability remediation management roles. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for addressing various organizational levels. Ability to prioritize, work independently, and achieve objectives. Experience with application and network penetration testing and ethical hacking, using automated tools and manual techniques. Knowledge of vulnerability classification methodologies and CVE definitions for remediation prioritization. Innovative, proactive problem-solving attitude.
